To make a profit, to pay staff, real estate, taxes, etc., you cheapen the product and its manufacture as much as you can.
There are some things that the human body is meant to process, and others not. The things that the human body is not meant to process to lend to certain conditions like illness, weight gain, lethargy over time and possibly worse things like cancer and death. How do you take care of your car, by using cheap ass lubricants and fluids from China that are cheaper but can cause more wear in the near term? Do you want a 300/400/500k mile vehicle? How do you do that? By changing the oil with a recommended oil and following the manufacturer's recommendations. By using quality components and not cheap Chinese knock offs.
