I'm starting to rethink of going with the small air fryer. I'm thinking, it's like buying a safe. Whatever I get is going to be too small.

I said that on here a week ago, Ricker…buy bigger than you think you’ll need…

Sorry, forgot to quote you on that. Sometimes it takes a while to sink in. :wink05:

I was just messing with ya, Rick. :wink05:

I saw a YT short vid of a hack that you guys might like - can't find it again tho ---- If you get a muffin pan - the kind with 'inserted cups' - you can bend it a couple of times an the cups will come out of the pan top..... cups to be used in an air fryer.

Yep. Looks useful and cheap if you have a pan laying around or pick one up at the thrift store.
They would actually be useful in the toaster oven too....

Tonight's cook didn't happen. Ended up going out with friends. Maybe tomorrow.

I wouldn't suggest this method if you do not like the smell of wet brown meat.

The house smells like wet brown meat. The fan just sent that scent up into the air. Completely turned me off to it.

Maybe next time I'll put the air fryer outside. Or cook it at a higher temp to reduce the time the fan is spreading wet brown meat smell.

Wait . . . what? What did you cook, are you talking about the ribeye?

I've never noticed an off-putting smell from mine. I have had it smoke when I do really fatty meat (like bacon) at too high of a temp, I try to keep that at 350 or lower.

Remember I slow cooked it to do a reverse sear. My house is two levels. Central air is off. I walked downstairs and walked into a wall of not tasty smell.
