How come "Left on the shelf" was not an option? Haven't had this since I was a kid, and I doubt I will moving forward. Although, I might have to buy a can and feed it to the kids, who will probably like it, just so they can say they've had it. Kinda like Tang. It's just one of those things every American kid should say they've had.

I do not like
a can of Spam.
I do not like it,
Sam-I-am.....

Hard to find an Asian grocer who doesn't have it on the shelves.
Even more so in Okinawa, Guam and Korea.
US Army had quite an impact.

I'm almost 31 years old and just had my first bit of Spam a couple weeks ago in Maui. A friend got a Spam Moco for breakfast, and I snagged a very small bite. Not as bad as I had expected, but not real good either. Granted it was one bite, so I can say I've "tried" it, but really still dont know much about it or how to really prepare it.

I love spam I use atleast 3 cans a month. In fact that I'm using a can today. I'm making spam and pickle salad for a cracker dip. Hawaiian fried rice, fried spam and cheese grilled sandwich. Panko spam with teriyaki. God now I'm hungry

I haven't had Spam for many years. I didn't even know that there's such a thing as bacon-flavored Spam. But here's what I remember as fact:

- Brown it good, and it's awesome.
- Don't brown it, and it's nasty.

I will not, will not eat the green eggs and spam... Yuck

Spam for me falls into the same category with Cheez Whiz and Spaghetti-O's... All best used as pistol targets at the range...

Too true. And it has to be warm, hotter the better. Cold spam tastes awful. I eat as many spam musubis as I can right off the stove, and plastic wrap the rest, but they have to be re-heated well. Uwajimaya sells them but calls them spam nigiri. My Japanese is weak, but the entire state of Hawaii along with most of the Internet sides with "musubi".

Not a huge fan of Spam, but L&L BBQ has some pretty good Musubi that I get when I go there.
