What are the best grilled sandwhich ideas? Panini or similar, and go!

I like a Rueben, crab and cheese, or prosciutto and Gorgonzola.
Sure there are better out there, but that's what I usually make.

This!!

Use a good Serrano ham, and some small chopped shredded pork, swiss, dabbed dry long pickle slices.........the right roll (tough part)...need softer bread but not shit soft...

I also like a good panini with ciabatta, but turn the bread backwards with the sandwich guts in the middle against the crust and the sliced inside against the grill.

Sandwich maker is sleeping on the couch right now.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. If I have Shredded Lettuce I put it in before grilling.

I don't like cooked lettuce.

Grilled French Dip. Roast beef that's been warmed in the Au Jus sauce, then put on a nice slice of french or sourdough with cheese of your choice. Grill to lightly crispy. Add horseradish, or grilled onions if thats your thing as well.

Torta bread is going to be where it's at. However, it goes bad quickly so use it up. Grills real nicely, crispy outside and soft on the inside. We got a Cuisinart panini press for a wedding present years ago and we get a lot of use out of it. I also like my meat cut real real thin so you can just pile it high on there, and makes eating easy. Not a fan of thick sliced deli meat. Makes me hungry just thinking about it.
