I came up with this tonight and it came out redonkulous, I had to share it. It's easy as hell too.
2 deer steaks 1/2 onion chopped small 6 mushrooms chopped small 2 tb German ground mustard Salt and pepper Oil
Optional Sage leaves fried crispy in oil
Heat up pan to medium high, add 1tb oil fry sage till crispy and remove. Add onion and mushroom. Cook down till all is browned, adding oil at the end will help. When done add salt and pepper. Add mustard and water, stir around to make sauce, cook till it thickens and pit into a bowl.
Season deer steaks and cook to medium rare. Spoon onion mixture on to steaks and top with fried sage.
