That’s what I call whack em and stack em catchin. Lots on good eating there. Which guide and how much?
Many years ago I used to fish down at Buoy10 every year in my buddies boat but it got so crowded it just took all the fun out of it, I can’t even imagine going there today. Going with a guide sure makes it a lot easier for all you do is just jump on the boat catch your fish and jump back off and be on your merry way.

I actually dont know the cost as it was a gift from Member Badclam here. The guide is a friend of one of Badclams good friends. It was busy out there, but it wasnt too bad. I could imagime a weekend would be quite different. The guide Ryan really knew the areas to go. We had one more punch for a coho but kept catching kimgs that we had to release so we called the day early rather than keep beating them up. We saw a couple dead ones floatimg as we came in. In all it was a great time. Something my kids want to save up for to do again. This friday we are goimg to westport to botton fish..

Thanks for the info. I have the boat but too crowded for my taste, I’d not have a problem with a guide.

For our trip it was just my 2 kids and one other friend so the boat was loaded perfectly and the other boats on the water were pretty well spread out. I found the guides site. https://www.seattlefishingtrips.com/?fb ... E4XYj8m-44and Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RiversideGuideService

The lower Columbia is closed now, or that was the word going around the guides on Monday. He moves up to the Chehalis in October to do more active cast and jig fishing. He described it being similar to Bass fishing, just for Salmon hanging out around logs and stumps. If I wasn't spending the $ for the 3 of us to go rock fishing out of Westport Friday I would have considered taking his free seats he had for next Monday. This is the last Hurrah before my Youngest goes back to school.

The Chehalis is having a good run so far this year, limited twice on two trips. Will have to see how the run progresses after the nets come out this Wednesday.
