Not a recall per se, but a free upgrade. I think it is in relation to the Sig M17 issue. https://www.canikusa.com/severe-duty-upgrade.

Note that it is just for the following: TP9SA, TP9SF, TP9SFx, TP9SF Elite, TP9SF Elite-S The non-safety models won't qualify.

Interesting. I have a TP9SF; it's a nice pistol with a great trigger. Canik_FAQ wrote: Will this affect the trigger pull of my TP Series pistol?
No. Trigger pull will remain within specifications. Hmmm. A simple "no" would have made me feel a lot better. I think I'll just keep mine as-is.

My TP9SFx has the best trigger I've ever used in a striker fired gun (by swapping to a Glock trigger spring and striker spring), and I'm not interested in messing with that. But I also wouldn't use it as a carry gun; maybe a different story if I had a compact version and carried it.

That "upgrade" has been around for 6 Years and guys complained it wrecked the Trigger pull. If you have ever fired one of them, they have the nicest striker fired trigger out there. Yeah, I didn't send mine in.
