Anyone in W. WA able to correctly drill an AR10 gas port?

I bought a closeout 12.5" Sig 716 barrel recently. The factory gas port is in a proprietary location to accommodate their gas piston system, in between a middy and a carbine length system. I'm looking for a price to plug the old hole (thread and plug, or weld over) and drill a new carbine length gas port.

Its a chrome lined, melonited barrel
