clean up deal threads

deals dead yet no option to lock topic

should be an option in deals as deals happen and can end in minutes

OK, I started out doing some really good stuff . . . then something started slam-firing in my brain, and the next thing I knew the whole section was empty.
 I resurrected some of the threads. It's possible I might have accidentally trashed some good ones too. Sorry.
