Skagit river levee did indeed break and the tiny burg of Hamilton is now pretty wet.

Thank you Jim. The south area of Hamilton is definatly under water up to the creek. When the levi broke many were trapped and had to be rescued by the flash flood of water. Currently many residents are camping out in the church parking lot on the North side where it is dry and I live of the hiway and because it was Thanksgiving many in the community Brought Cooked turkeys and side dishes to the church so even the displaced residents could have a Thanksgiving dinner. One of my ex co-workers is in danger of losing his home as the bank of the river colapsed and the river bank is wthing 10 feet of his home now. During the colapsed of the river bank his 1000 gallon propane tank that he just filled fell into the river and washed away. In other news I am searching the river for a 1000 gallon Propane tank to make a huge smoker.....Back to you Jim

I am on the south side of Highway 20 right now working, about 30 seconds from Daves house. The water is high, no joke. We are still operational though and still on grid power.

We just clicked below flood stage, Snoqualmie below Carnation. Of course the water is still over 124th, bridge closed. Maybe, hopefully open on Sunday
