Thinking about it now, my Dad had enough senority at the time and was in a critical position in Boeing, he would have been one of the last people laid off if Boeing kept going downhill. To think about it now, we all might have been better off if Bowing did go under in the 70's. You wouldn't have had the influx of Commifornians coming in and I would not have been driven out of the state by a leftist dictator. But then again Seattle could have just become another Detroit faster if Boeing tanked. Who knows?
