HB1589 rammed through to kill natural gas

This will cost tens of thousands to replace out and I don’t want to anyways. I like having hot showers and being able to cook even when the power goes out. And we just spent a huge amount getting the natural gas furnace replaced.

Wow, the politicians cheated? Color me surprised.
This is the same shit they do with gun legislation. Remember ghost bills and changing proposals to include token budget outlays to ram it through Ways and Means when a bill would die in Law and Justice , or judicial committee?
And the next thing that will happen is a nuclear power proposal to cover necessary electrical generation. On the face of it, that might sound great, but Wooops, WA tried that already and government doesn't have a great record of success.

Yeah the fossil fuel industry is worth Billion's, they tried this before but got shut down preatty fast. The gas companies are gonna bury these guys, just out of spite. All they have to do to turn the tide in November is turn the gas off in the North East and blame the representatives. I haven't seen a mob with torches and pitchforks in a long time, but I can guarantee it will happen when this goes through.

This screws a lot of people. If a fraction of the people affected had a rally at the legislature, would this end. I would go because they will go after others next.

The legislature just doesn't seem to get that you can only push so far and not expect pushback. In fact if it weren't for the fact that gun owners and most of those on the right are generally law-abiding and have morals, something mostly or completely missing from the other side, is the only reason that pushback in the form of what used to happen to traitors to the republic back in the 1770's hasn't happened. I don't look forward to that day but have been wondering more and more how much longer it will be contained.

IT'S ABOUT CONTROL. 100% correct. This will eventually be enforced via the combination of a central bank digital currency and a social credit score. If you don't publicly declare your love for the emperor's new clothes, they shut off your electricity. And in the meantime, they'll bleed you dry financially with exorbitant rates to heat your home, cook, and dry your clothes using electricity.

Don't ban propane/LPG, make it so the only person supplying it doesn't want to supply it anymore. etc etc. You think the FFL is going to risk their business/livelihood? You think the shipper is going to ship to the FFL risking their business/livelihood? You think small engine manufacturers are going to ship to this state and risk their business/livelihood? You think the company getting kickbacks/in the position to make the most money from banning propane/LPG is going to go against its own interests?

That sure does sound a lot like we need some war. We are on brink. And it’s teetering with this and the full FFL ban by inslee.
I’ll say it, he needs to be tried for treason and the sentence carried out immediately.

More ironic is I know I'm not able to speak for everyone here but many of us have extra money for guns and ammo. That budget will shrink with this gas law, egg law, tire law, etc.
But it's likely we will weather this storm. Bank accounts beat up a little bit, but we will make it through.
Those who won't make it through are likely those who voted these clowns into and maintaining office. Yet they will cry that it's the opposing political party that has emptied their bank accounts.
Looking at past happenings they are more likely to riot over this.

Family’s dying alone? When in the hell is enough, enough? This is NOT going to be well, it’s not, people will be branded with a number in a FEMA CAMP!
