Does anyone know what hoops you need to jump through to sell a firearm to a non-washington state resident? I know the firearm has to be legal in their state, but are you allowed to travel with your guns to another state, and sell them privately? I know you could technically just do that and the state would never know, but legally would that be OK?
Thanks in advance.

It's not the state you need to worry about when you cross state lines. Federal Charges apply...
Your best bet legally is to use a FFL on both ends for transfer, etc
Whenever you sell a firearm to another... what ever happens to it. Has your name on record. Remember that other person has to register it with them??? It can also be that maybe they "got robbed" or lost it. Guess who they track down, if something warrants tracking of that firearm?
Years, decades later. Guess who they come knocking?

If you had planned to drive to the other parties state, you can just go their local FFL and transfer them. If long guns, they can come to an FFL near you in this state (some WA FFLs won't do this even though it's legal, so check first).
