Hood in Texas ...and then have to come back here and start all over finding a job. But, I love serving and this comes with the package. I knew fully well when I raised my right hand....repeatedly....to enlist and then re-enlist. Given the chance, I would do it again. The part that pissed me off was the timing. My wife will be finishing school soon and starting a great job and I had hoped to provide the presence to support her and help manage the house and kids. Now she'll have to do it all on her own. IF you get back, put your retirement request in 2 years before you hit the date. I did not do this and got orders because I was "tour complete" 4 more months to hit 20 and I get orders to the deep south. Talk about hot and humid. Good luck.
