Got an unexpected high three figure check from a LCD monitor price fixing class action settlement today.
Thought it'd be maybe low two figures so I was pleasantly surprised.

I got a check for $47.89, which shocked me. I don't remember what I turned in for, but it wasn't a whole lot -- so that check was about 5x what I expected it to be!

Yesterday I went to the Mariners game and parked in the Safeco Field Garage. After the game, some time after 10:00, I was leaving, driving the two-lane winding elevated highway towards I-90. It was dark, there was lots of traffic, and driving was kind of difficult.

I was in the left lane, and realized that I needed to be in the right lane to get in I-5 South. I put on my blinker, waited for a pause in traffic on the right, and started to move over. Dude in the right line came ZIPPING forward, honking his horn. I pulled back left, he backed off, I started moving right again. Same deal, shoot forward, big drama. We did it again, and this time he actually came up beside me on the right, before backing off. WTF.

I finally got over, and he came around me on the left. Still honking, and he flashed a bright light at me -- seemed like it might have been the side light on a cop car, something like that. Then he fires up his PA speaker: "WHY DON'T YOU STOP DRIVING LIKE AN ASSHOLE."



So I'm exiting to the right, he's staying left to get on I-90 . . . and suddenly the car to his left flipped on the flashing blue lights and pulled his ass over.

You guys really screwed up. Not only did I get a check, but I also got a nice letter from Attorney General Bob Ferguson explaining how he's the greatest thing ever, and he's always looking out to protect us from big bad corporations.

I was almost fooled, until I remembered that he's just an asshole looking to climb the political ladder.

It's a trap. Next month you'll get a subpoena demanding proof of purchase for all of those LCD devices you claimed.

What made my day is my P Series Rolex SD averaged +1.4 sec/day over the past two months.
Don't need to send it in for a service. Would hate to be without my watch for a month.
Bought it new in 2001 as a gift to myself after having a nice profitable first year.

I had reciepts for 4 flat screen tvs, 14 monitors, 6 laptops & 2 phones.
Helps that I was buying (on my card) gear for both family and work during the time frame.
