"Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm -- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves." – T.S. Eliot

"The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction." - St. George Tucker

A careful definition of words would destroy half the agenda of the political left and scrutinizing evidence would destroy the other half. - Thomas Sowell

"To ban guns because criminals use them is to tell the innocent and law-abiding that their rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct, but on the conduct of the guilty and the lawless, and that the law will permit them to have only such rights and liberties as the lawless will allow...

For society does not control crime, ever, by forcing the law-abiding to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of criminals. Society controls crime by forcing the criminals to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of the law-abiding." - Jeff Snyder

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

Hey, at least I've read the Constitution. Taken Constitutional Law classes, even. Neither of which are things that the sitting POTUS has done himself.

As for proof....there's this little saying about smoke and fire? Maybe Google it.

Fire in the sky?

Haven't heard this one in a long time. Thanks for the suggestion!

There is no fighting, in the land of bacon,

Gonna go there, get my own a shakin,

Attitude there, attitude here,

Goes away after rounds of bacon and beer.

I am curious how has the FBI been investigating for collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russia since the summer. What did this investigation involve?

Not sure what it involved, but 6 months and counting, and NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on the Russian - Trump connection has been found illegal. And not just nothing illegal, but simply nothing. Trump just didn't do business with Russians. At least not in the last 10+ years. But even with the facts, the left has simply continued to double down on their boogie-men ghosts, because they still can't accept reality.

The term "sore loser" has been re-defined in our lexicon when describing Hillary supporters.

Comey in Congressional testimony was asked if a single vote was changed. State by state was identified, and Comey every time said "NO". That was the legal part. That was the part that matters. NOTHING. The rest is all a political manipulation show.

The Dems that can't move on are starting to become dangerous. Dangerous to the Republic, danger to those that don't agree with their conspiracies, and even themselves. And this is real. Many times, Trump supporters are beaten up and cops ignore it. For wearing a read hat with some words on it. These attacks are continuing and the Democrat Press doesn't care.

The Monkey Press long ago left any guise of impartiality and become a propaganda organization for one political position and against the other. Instead of trying to observe and report facts in a cohesive fashion, they nearly universally look at the information and then massage it to present it in the Democrat world view before it gets broadcast. After 8 years of news manipulation to make their Hero look good, they have forgotten what journalism is. And it shows.

Watching CNN these days is like a TV version of the Onion. Traditional journalism is as dead as the ducks I nailed last hunting season.

I was very bummed out in 2009 twice, when the Repubs nominated a guaranteed loser in McCain, and the coronation of Barack Obama like a king to the US Presidency. The press covered their version of a King's induction, not a president.

But my side lost. I accepted it. That is not happening in 2016-7, the Monkey Press continues to seek out any factoid and tries to turn any word or action by Trump into a smoking gun that will cause impeachment and release the Hillary supporters from their supposed nightmare.

Time to move on, Dems. There is no smoking gun.

Other than the golden shower(s), there's not much of any allegations against Trump himself. He's kept his hands clean.

But Flynn was paid but the Turks, and now it turns out Manafort was paid by the Russians:

So you feel good about many of his aides, nominees etc dealing so closely and receiving money from foreign entities, right during the election?

Oh, sure, micro payments from business dealings.

I'll see your fake news stories, and raise you the Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton selling off 20 percent of US production of uranium to the Russians.

Uranium is a strategic material, used for making atomic bombs.

Big fucking difference.

Are you referring to the brother of John Podesta, then leading the Hillary for President campaign, getting over $170,000 from a Ukrainian bank in 2015? That money?

Or are you referring to the $20 million that a foreign owned company, majority Russian, that paid then Sec of State Hillary Clinton's Family Foundation, right before she approved the sale of 20% of America's uranium?

And even I am pretty sure you are not talking about the supposed $246 million that George Soros has spent through his many political groups POST-election to pay for professionally organized anti-Trump rallies causing violence. . Because Soros is still a US citizen, that looks a lot like sedition to me.

The Russians went after the Dem National Committee's leader, John Podesta last year, because they read the polls and thought, like you, that Hillary was going to win. They wanted dirt on the Dems to be used in the future. And the Russians didn't have to hack, because John Podesta clicked on a phishing scam that 5th graders know not to do and opened up the entire Democrat National Committee email system to outsiders. We still don't know it was Russians. No proof exists the email was leaked by Russians to Wikileaks, it could have been the Deep State of the US government. We have learned that the Deep State spies have software to leave digital fingerprints of individual foreign nations.

The two people you mentioned were drummed out of the Trump campaign quickly, even though what Flynn did was completely legal. Remember, he was a private citizen. I don't think he should have done that because of the optics, but it was not illegal. And he is GONE. The Mannifort issue is nothing new, he said a year ago that he was hired as a political consultant (with Ukraine, IIRC, could be wrong.)

Quit looking for boogie-men is the most productive thing the left can do now. But they are continuing to go the opposite way. That is the real story for the future.

And the intel community finally admits it and says it was an "accident."

http://thehill.com/policy/cybersecurity ... transition

I suppose it was also an "accident" that Obama signed an executive order around the same time to expand the use of that intel to more agencies...

Where is the lib media now? Dead silent.

Oops

Turns out that we did conduct surveillance on Trump, but we didn't intend to, so it's ok.

Sounds familiar.

Hello, IRS? I didn't intend to forget all that income on my tax return, but I did, so because I admitted it, all is ok, right?

Yes, the Monkey Press will roll out something like this covering for the Obama Deep State seditionists soon.

The NYDailyNews is a very left NY paper, and hides the lede.

Rep Nunes, the Chairman if the House Intel Committee, was deeply disturbed with what he read today on this in secret.

O'Reilly interviews Rep Peter King and calls out both the felonies illegally not masking American names, and the wide distribution of raw data to the many different intelligence agencies.

The Obama Admin, either his assistants or those that are sympathizers that work in the Deep State, survailed the Trump campaign during the election. They distributed the raw data from foreign entities (not Russian) unmasked with Trump associates, and possibly even Trump. It was then leaked to the public, which is a felony.

Obama expanded the distribution channels of secret information from 10-15 people to over 500, making it easy for the Deep State to coverup the leak, just a few days before he left office, after Trump was elected.
