Is his dad's name Mike? A guy at my work lost his son in a motorcycle accident this weekend. Last name Ellis?

Oh no, RIP. Did he come to the New Years Day shoot, I could swear someone named fishy let me shoot a mag on his weapon. It was either sweet trigger on an AK, or it was some pistols...

So unfortunate. May G-d watch over Chris' family and friends as they struggle to cope with their loss. RIP, Chris.

They stopped by the shop a little earlier since he spent so much of his time here. They are doing as well as can be expected. We hugged and cried and shared funny stories about an awesome guy. There is talk about a fellow cyclist spearheading some donations for the family I will update once I know. xman wrote: Is his dad's name Mike? The loss of a "Good Friend" is hard. It takes time to develop friendships that deep. The loss of a family member and loved one sometimes never fade from the heart. Time does not "heal", it just knocks off the rough edges and makes it easier to swallow. There will forever be a place in your heart and memory. May the peace of God be with all involved.

Too young, very sad.
Let us know if the family needs any help. I'm sure they have a lot to process right now.

Sorry for the loss of a friend and a fellow rider. I hate to ask but.. , any more details on the tragic accident? Anything can happen on 2 wheels that you can't be ready for. I lost a brand new front tire at 70mph on 405, can't believe or understand how I didn't eat jersey barrier. Been cut off, almost sideswiped, nearly rear ended numerous times. Car drivers just don't seem to pay attention, or care, and some seemed angry that you are faster and can use the carpool lanes.
Again I feel your pain, I'll pray for his family. If they need any help, post some info.

Damn shame. 25 is too young to be leaving this world. I hope his family finds solace in the life he lived and the love that he gave them in his time with them.
