Anyone familur with the Civil Air Patrol, knows it generally leads to a career in the Air Force, or the aircraft industry in general. I'm familure with this girl and her family, and have donated to this fund. She deserves this honour, as she's worked bloody hard to achieve her current level. If possible, I'd like to ask for the members contributions to help her make this trip, as she would make a excellent representative for the U.S.

You mean to tell me this girls parents, friends, and Flight or Squadron can't come up with the extra $315 and she has to go online begging for it???
Now that's sad.

In order for her to make the trip, she needs to pay her percentage. The balance is already paid for, and these days, it can be hard for a teenage girl in a rural county to come up with a grand in a short time. Shit, I work full time and I can't spring loose of that kind of coin, can you?

I met her father through my work, and when I saw fund raiser shared on facebook, I donated then shared it once more.
