Comcast has the same motto as Wells Fargo and H&K: You suck, and we hate you. If you are stupid enough to buy our products, we hate you even more.

I had comcast for a while. The day they flipped on the switch for Fios in my neighborhood I ordered it. A week later Comcast was history as far as I was concerned.
Can't even stand the a-holes they send door to door to try and hook me up with their service. Last one I told to pull their f-ing wires out of my garden on the side of the house.

How does FIOS TV/Internet house cabling work? Can they use existing comcast cables?

Despite the fact Comcast/Xfinity can't decide what to call themselves, I've always reached the same type of moron at their tech support. We cut the cord 3 years ago. You should consider this.

I had one of their level 2 support techs want me to unplug the cable and turn it around the other way.

Had a signal problem, bedroom TV kept pixelating. Comcast came out and put a signal amplifier by my chimney to a cable coming out of the neighbors front yard (they were livid). After several months Comcast sent out some Mexicans who didn't speak English to run a new main line in our block. I told them where the cable was, they ran it to where it used to be years ago on the wrong side of the house! They sent another guy out who said he needed to run a cable from outside, through the garage, and through the inside of the house.......we were going out to dinner and I told him to forget it. So now I have a new high speed cable sticking out of the ground by the current transformer not connected to anything and cables running completely around the whole fucking house!
Ya, I think I'll call FIOS.
BTW, how is the TV service? Cant find out shit from their website.
I like Comcast, but it just costs too much.

I like Comcast, but it just costs too much. I was going to switch just to get Comcast out of my life. From what I could gather, it might cost me a little less but they knew less about their product than I did when I called which was about a year ago. Are you going through Frontier? That is another complete shit show if you think Comcast is bad. Quality of service? I don't know. I wasn't really able to find any reviews either way.

I was asking the same questions..... viewtopic.php?f=33&t=80470Check out the WA60S and WA60NT promos - they end at the end of the month..... Still haven't heard how good the tv signals are --- nobody had said they suck... so I guess there is that... Their website sucks for finding any info - call them and ask questions - hopefully the billing will match what they tell you.

Guntrader wrote: How does FIOS TV/Internet house cabling work? Can they use existing comcast cables? Yes. They run a fiber optic line from the street to your house. Then drill a hole in the side of your garage. Inside the garage, they mount a box which hooks into that fiber optic line and back out to your main cable and phone line hookups. Everything inside your house works as it did before. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
