Because...........it's a significant election after Trump won.
And Montana isn't known as a Democrat stronghold. Could be an indicator of things to come in 2018. Edit: within 5 votes with 286/681 precincts reporting. _________________ NRA Endowment Member. Maybe Billings, Helena and Great Falls all reported early. I doubt it will be close in the long run. Montana will remain red for a long while in my estimation.

Giantforte is in trouble from a recent brouhaha with a "liberal" reporter. Moments before sitting down with FOX correspondents, this guy from the Guardian shows up, he butts in and starts asking pointed questions. The Representative and him end up coming to blows. Never did hear if there were formal charges.

Misdemeanor assault.
Reporter said Giantforte body slammed him and broke his glasses.
