Brady "seemed" to me like he wasn't into it.
Maybe because they didn't have the lead until the the 4th?
dunno...

Im more inclined to think that the Pats were convinced they would win easily.

:meme: You mean, "The Hillary Effect"?

Yes, according to Hillary the Pats got more total yards so therefore the Pats should be awarded the SB champions! :ROFLMAO:

Ended up going to a SB party invite with girlfriend. Contrary to what folks perceive, I like the raw sport - I just don't care for the garbage that comes with it (money, glitz, gangsters, corruption, etc.).

Thought the game was interesting. Surprised by the outcome, but good for the Eagles! I figured experience would trump hunger, and I was mistaken.

Brady just did not seem interested in the game and his low "effort" on the missed catch was surprising.

Seemed the teams were evenly matched with nearly identical mistakes and performance in penalties, yards, possession, turnovers, and missed field goals and lucky plays. Missed FGs didn't chance the game but were surprising.

Thought the calls were very fair and correct. There were a few missed calls but overall I prefer the refs let the teams play.

I was puzzled how the rules would even question how the Eagles final TD could even possibly not be a TD. Clear catch, clear possession, and obvious breaking the plane of the End Zone. Apparently there's some new or vague stupid rule, but I've seen many similar catch and reach across, or hitting the pylon result in 6, even when the receiver/runner loses possession the instant after breaking the plane.

Biggest bad play that was a game changer was Brady's wide open missed catch - probably a bad throw. But he had open 25 yards of mostly open field to the end zone on a critical 3rd down; maybe he doesn't score but if he catches the ball the Pats retain possession and get to the ~15 yard line. Game changer on a simple unopposed play. Maybe marginally overthrown, but Brady didn't break out of a jog, or try very hard.

Kudos to Foles and the Eagles. Large upset.

Whew, you're hard to keep up with....

So, it's double-standard week again....

YOU'VE decided it's okay to talk football, so you have all of these justifications why you can, because YOU'RE into it for the raw sport, but apparently the rest of us talk about it because we're into it for the "money, glitz, gangsters, corruption, etc."...

I feel better now, you're not judging football, you're judging US....

3, 2, 1, .... countdown to an explanation why I don't "understand" what he meant......

And they somehow will end up with a better O line than the Seahawks. :)

They have had a better Oline for several seasons, explain to me how that has helped them?

My comment was tongue in cheek directed at the chat that we never have enough money for O line. The problems with 49ers first half of season were much deeper than either line.
