JJ Watt’s injury, a tibial plateau fracture, is a more severe trauma to the joint than an ACL. Instead of a ligament tearing the bone broke.

Hawks lucked out yesterday and will be lucking out over the next 2 weeks. Not having to face the Giants with OBJ, Sterling Shepard and Brandon Marshall followed by a game with the Texans with no Watt is huge.

The bye week will help with some bumps and bruises, but I was hoping the offense would hit their stride soon. They showed a glimmer yesterday. Sometimes a week off stops momentum.

Yeah...being banged up isn't the offense's problem. The guys that are hurt aren't going to benefit from an extra week off.

I fear you're right that they might take a step back, but fortunately the Seahawks will face one of the most punchless teams in recent NFL history. The Seahawks offense looks like the '99 Rams compared to the Giants right now.

True. the Giants are the perfect team to stomp, coming off a bye week. Good point.

Tonights game looks shitty on paper. I feel sorry for Chicago, having to deal with a lousy team for so long. I mean even when the Sehawks of old, SUCKED, they were at least entertaining.

50+ year old football players would die....

Really though it be cool to have the 80's bears play the 2010's patriots. Pretty sure the bears would be whooped

McMahon was a character, but not a very good QB. And I liked it when Singletary showed his ass to the 49ers locker room.

2013 Seahawks would beat the 80's Bears. That SB against the Broncos was amazing.

Yup I agree, so would the 2015 Broncos. The size, speed and athleticism of todays players is like comparing apples to beans with players in decades past. Hell, players used to smoke cigarettes during halftime back in the day.
