CMU recruited him because of his LSM, Defender and even a Middie skills (as a sophomore) so they have him earmarked for playing two positions (Man up long pole as an LSM and a defender) When he verbally committed as a sophomore he was the first player from WA state to be recruited in school history and their #1- 2017 grad to be recruited. Needless to say he made an impression at a Denver Team camp in 2014!
