Looking to try and price out a rifle I recently got it's a aes-10 Romanian model. Problem is the prices online are all over the board and not sure the difference. Any help would be much appreciated.

The century AES-10's have sporadically been on sale for $499, which in my opinion is a steal for an RPK style rifle. It'll come down to the rifle condition but I'd guess a fair market value of around $600-$650 tops.

Are they actually for sale anywhere, though?

My guess is that it would go higher than that, just because they're hard to find . . . I think?

Sorry for the lack of info it's a cia Romanian. I have seen when they are in stock selling for about 500 but looking for ones fore sale right now they are much higher. However most I have seen are a aes-10b and mine does not have the b on it. I'm just trying to figure it out to give a fair price when I go to sell it

online the 10b is that people want. the original was just a akm with a longer barrel, more cheaply made.

if a 10b is 500 the 10 is worth 350.

the 10b is a true rpk with heavy barrel

I will tell you the prices being asked on gunbroker for them are crackhead prices, just l ike psl's. Notice no one is buying them?

I remember classic arms was selling them for 550 back in the day, then all the aes10's dried up over night and that was the last I heard of them. Ironically just like the psl's. there are just a few aes10s on gunbroker and you can see the reserve price and notice there are no bids, so just start with what you think it's worth then drop the price, you'll get some bites for sure. I'd buy it if the price is killer

its the lighter barrel, non folding stock , bipod in the wrong spot. someone on gunbroker will give you more money than here.

I wouldn't give it a second glance myself and move on.
