It's easy to sit here and think about what I don't have. Afterward I feel worse...

Happy Thanksgiving. It's been a year, and a decade, of massive ups and downs. But I have so much to be thankful for.
If anyone reads this and feels depressed or sad because you have trials and struggles or think life is unfair, etc. let me tell you - we all have big struggles. Including me. And there are always folks far worse off than you. But so much is about your mental attitude of gratefulness, joy, and frankly a relationship with God. I have personally had miracles in my life - including one this week - that made a huge difference in my life and the life of other(s). I'll spare the details, but this week the most unlikely event happened and I have no explanation other than a miracle from God, because of my faith and belief. So, if you struggle and feel lost, or find yourself down, what have you got to lose by being thankful, and taking a step toward Jesus. And for the non-religious folks, this isn't an invite to attack Christianity. If you disagree, fine. Please do so in silence. Others may find comfort in God. _________________ I defend the 2A.
