We live in a video era. The Democrats were ON RECORD saying how shutting down the government was irresponsible and that spending bills should be "clean" and not attached to other things (Oops, what about DACA?)

They have now revealed that they care more for illegal aliens than citizens. The people will remember in November.

Amys Dad Chucky just blamed Trump...Said repeatedly it was "Trumps Shutdown".

Apparently Trump wouldn't talk to Chucky all weekend....apparently there's hurt feelings.(Chuckys)

Then went on to lecture like the WH was full of 5th graders.

Cant remember 2013 being called Sorretoros Shutdown.


They're voting on the Senate floor now. Then off to the House.

I remember obummer shutting down a certain Veteran's Memorial Park and saying that he wanted "to make it hurt". Several large groups of people tore the locks off the gate and rode through anyway.
I was behind a gun counter which also sold WA State fishing and hunting licenses. Those systems mysteriously stopped working until the shutdown was over.

I want to be as fair as possible.

I'd lay the blame here about 70% Dems, 30% GOP. Here's why.

As much as I hate the Dems, and the current shut down is entirely their fault IMO. And yes, the hypocrisy is staggering on their side.

Current members of the GOP are at fault because they have kicked the debt can down the road for a decade or more, piling on more spending bills and pork to add to our overwhelming $20T debt.

We simply CANNOT continue to spend, spend, spend, spend. We CANNOT. Rand Paul is partly right when he protests these budget ceiling votes. And the longer the shut down the more we realize we don't need a massive government.

The media is also to blame. They have spun the narrative now so that anyone who advocates caring for US citizens first is now a racist.
