If you ever spent any time in the service, you would know these things are total CRAP!. They break down on a regular basis, the engines are awfully under powered and the suspension is shit and bottom out constantly. Talk about the lowest bidder. Then the one ones they are selling at JBLM have been rode so hard and put away wet, your second car would be a tow truck.
They look all cool on TV with the troops tooling around with the M2's and the M240B even the M249's on top, but give it to Joe, he will break any military hardware no matter what it is. Oh and do not think Special Operations got it even better, a Hummer in Pat Tillman's convoy broke down that is why they got jacked up.
I would not project these junk piles, you would go broke before you got anything out of it.
I would take a used Chevy Silverado Z71 over those any day.
QFT. I'd rather drive a Dodge Ram, tho.

Cummins swap for the win. Bottoming issue I haven't heard, but custom springs could fix that?
You obviously have never driven a HMMWV,TRUCK, UTILITY: CARGO/TROOP CARRIER, 1-1/4 TON, 4X4, M998 , worked on one, PMCS'd one or have ever dead-lined one.
