Realistically "Safe" is a relative term with that unit, it's a "Residential Security Container" at best with the body Gauge and only 6 Locking bolts. It's much better than nothing and the price is great, but it's no "Safe".
Having said that, it's
Far superior than having your Collection unsecured. Camera's, Alarm systems, etc, won't suffice in a speedy "Hit and Run."
Anything that slows down the bad guy is a good thing.
I agree with the latter part of your statement.
Something that big and heavy, anchored to the ground isn't going anywhere.
If someone breaks in and has enough time to either rip this off it's anchors or grind it open, they had enough time to do it to a safe of higher quality.

Safes like these are not meant to keep out a professional, skilled thief. What they can do is keep most common criminals, smash n grab's, methheads and kids out of your valuables. Some tips to make any safe even better.
- Anchor it well. Preferably to concrete floor if possible. If a thief can tip the safe over it gains them significant leverage and ability to break into the safe. Either thru cutting the side walls, or leveraging on the door. Plenty of youtube videos out there of guys breaking into one in moments once they tip it over. Also for smaller safes, a couple guys can carry a smaller safe, you just made it easier for them to take everything at once, in a handy durable case if it is not anchored well!
- Limit access to the safe. Put it in a closet, in a corner with something heavy/bolted down on the exposed side and anchor the safe itself down. They cannot get to the sides to cut with a grinder/cuttoff wheel and it goes back to leverage. The less room they have to each side in front of the sale, the less they can get a crowbar in and move it, the better off you will be.
None of that is fulproof but it makes a considerable difference in the time required to break in, and time is what safes are all about, buying time, or making it not worth the effort to work on.
Keep your booty and valuables to yourself too. The less people know about your $100k jewelry collection, the less likely you are to be targeted by a pro.
