I really enjoy firearms and the shooting sports. Recreational, hunting, long range or just plain burning powder. I'm always assembling this and that. From a assorted pile of AR parts along with my favorite the Remington 700 action with whatever barrel or stock that seems fitting at the time. So whenever I get ahold of something quality and cool I throw it out there so others may enjoy it. While searching high and low for a cool muzzle device/ Brake for a 18" 6.5 Grendel build I found a completely new to the market brake. What threw me off at first was the price, we all know that most often than not, you get what you pay for. So when looking at some pics of the brake then finding out it was priced at $49.95. I thought what ? About half the price or less than the muzzle brake I intended to purchase. So what the heck, I liked the looks and design. Well once I got it, I was extremely pleased. I've been shooting muzzle brakes since the Magna-Ports hit the market 20 plus years ago and can't even count how many different types I've used on AR's over the years. This brake is nice, the machining is pristine. The design modern and it looks tough! When looking into the brake I found info for it on FaceBook but I'm not on there so I couldn't open any of what Killer Innovations had, I just watched a quick UTube video and then I had to wait until I had it in hand. They do these in 5/8-24 thread for 5.56/.223 or .308 . Which was perfect for me because I run 5/8-24 threads on everything for Suppressor use and can just use a .308 can for everything. I'm going to open a 5/8-24 5.56 brake for use with the 6.5 diameter Grendel bullet. I'm going to get several more and try them on some heavy bolt rifles, probably on my 7mm WSM. http://killer-innovations.comHere's some pics, I am in no way affiliated with Killer Innovations. I just like quality cool hardware. On one of my Lilja fluted #7 contours.

So I met up with my buddy Rick from Killer Innovations on Friday. He was kind enough to donate the goodies we added to our Christmas PIF and he also gave me one of these brakes to demo for myself and write up a review. I will be doing that as soon as I get a chance.
Keep your eyes on these guys. They are making some INCREDIBLE stuff that will meet or beat the competition and in a lot of cases for less money. Rick invited me down to take a look at the shop after the first of the year. I will see if I can get some cool behind the scenes pic's. Until then...buy from them and I guarantee you'll be happy.

looks alot better than my surefire Rick assured me these will meet or beat the performance of the Surefire brakes. As biggerhammer said, the machining on these is incredible. It's a VERY nice brake. Yes I have known Rick for years but I told him I would not give his stuff my seal of approval unless it actually worked. So from a purely aesthetic outlook, this thing is awesome! I will write up an actual review as soon as I get a chance to go run it.

Does anyone know the OAL on these? It doesn't seem to be listed on their website.
Any idea why they don't make a 1/2-28 for 223 guns?
