Post subject:  ScotteVest Any input out there?
Saw an ad on TV this am, unfortunately not available in stores locally to check out. Seems interesting for electronics, but also for CC.
Some of the jackets have over 20 pockets. Kind of pricey. Anybody have/seen the product?

I've had one for about 10 years. I used to wear it daily when I was working in a food truck, it kept me warmer than I would have expected. Unfortunately, it smells like a fryer now so I don't wear it as much, but I'd get another one if I moved to a colder locale or was able to wear them at work.

I frequently pull it out when travelling, though, as it makes carrying all that stuff much, much easier.

Almost all of the zippers still work great - there are a couple which have had to be repaired after too much use, and it's definitely time for a replacement.

They're great if you travel a lot and don't like to carry a backpack or large bag everywhere. Phone, charger, usb cables, travel doc's, tickets, extra cash (divided up in several pockets), can make it really useful.

Unless your firearm is thin, like perhaps an M&P Shield, they aren't that great.

If you stuff them too full of essentials you'll end up looking like a shoplifter and get stopped by store security often :bigsmile:
