CO AWB is Dead?

At least for now.

Opponents of the bill - citizens and citizen gun groups - made the difference by pressuring their DEMOCRAT representatives.

Defeatist attitudes are self-perpetuating. Washingtonians have NO excuse for non-participation.

Just means they start a full-court press Day One next year.

This is about not driving the Gun Vote to turn out in November, plain and simple. Lull the sheeple back into complacency.

Hey ANZAC, how's that check to make right for your prior gungrabbing coming?

Washington pushed back and killed AWB for several years. Colorado is just earlier in the process.

Where is the goddamn Supreme Court? And why are they letting states violate their previous rulings with impunity?

Yep. You guys are right. They'll be back next year and the year after. And it's a fight we'll have to fight year after year.

But liberties lost are never regained and fighting sure bears living under the yolk year after year.

They have no way to enforce their rulings. No way to MAKE anyone comply.

The enemy can ignore the law, and court precedent, at will.

Fun part is though, two can play at that game.

The real problem is that we need so many more E-mail warriors than we have now.

The feds could arrest a governor for violating federal law, it happened to the Illinois governor. But this is an Amendment not a “law” so we are f’d. Thankfully we have sheriffs who refuse to trample on citizens rights and will not allow federal boots on the ground to violate our 2A rights. Glad I live in a small town where our local police also refuse to violate the citizens rights, no matter what the left coast says.
