Last week I ordered 12 gwacs lowers at 20 bucks apiece. It is definitely a disease. Today I loaded more 5.56 It's systematic.

Heard about a sale and called in. Mary's pistols charges 25 per form. One form has 4 spaces for serial numbers. So.... Shipping on 5 or more was free. 20x12= $240 Free shipping 75 in transfer fees 25ish in tax. 340÷ 12 = 28 bucks and change for one piece polymer lowers. Stripped, but that's ok with me. I meant to post it here and kept forgetting.

It's functional, looks aren't everything. You did cover half the Grandma's though... The old school AR....what is it?

Half Canadian, Half Israeli, all hardcore. Diemaco C7 upper, LPK, buffer, all of it but the stripped lower is original 1980s Canadian made stuff for Israeli service. In person you can see the teardrop forward assist, A1 rear sight (most notable difference), 4 position buffer tube, etc. 1;7 twist, carbine length, Chrome Lined bore.
At heart, it`s a tough old AR. If I want something more contemporary I`ll be happy to put a free floated match grade upper on it but till that day comes I`m liking it as is. Simple is tough. Tough is good.
A friend christened it "The Gat of Golan Heights". I`m partial to "The Torah Tool" personally.

Finally got a CZ P-01 in urban grey, just got back from picking it up @ Brad's. Found it on Gunbroker a week ago. They have been impossible to find, so I jumped on it. Of course, it turns out that a shipment must have arrived to the U.S., as two days later I started getting in stock notifications from the various stores I had set them up for...one of them being $100 cheaper.
Oh well, I'm just happy to finally have one.

I got my fingerprints, and passport photo done for my suppressor today. Updated my gun inventory spreadsheet, I broke the 30 mark not including two stripped lowers.

I didn't do anything useful, but I did think a lot about whether a five-seven would be a good hiking companion in coyote territory. Someone tell me I'm wrong and save me a grand.
