I'm seriously considering sending my Glock 19 off to Taran Tactical to get their Combat Master package done to it:

I was wondering if anyone here owns or has owned modified Glocks from shops like Agency Arms, Fowler or Salient, etc and if you felt that it was well worth the investment or not.

I have an Agency G19 and love it. Its my EDC (usually without the suppressor). I have about 2000 rd through it now without one single failure.

You can get a freakin Nighthawk for the price, but if you have the money you wont be disappointed.

Awesome! How has the modifications changed how the gun shoots?

Pros: It shoots great. The trigger is awesome. No pre travel and very little over travel. They will set the weight to just about anything you want. I had them put it at 4.5 - 5 lbs since this is a carry gun. I havent actually tested it, but that feels right about where it is. I love the flat face. Its more accurate than I am, but within 25 yards I can shoot the shit out of it (the RMR helps). The grip stippling is damn near perfect (mine has the medium backstrap on it...they mold it in when doing the stippling) and they cut it down in all the right places. I also really like the "accelerator pads" (the cuts above the trigger that give your thumb a good grip to manage recoil).

Cons: price price price, and it takes 6 months.

I seriously considered getting a G17 too, but in the end just couldn't justify the cost.

Uhh, I was going to post my lightly modified G34, but next to that Agency gun it looks like something a pawn shop forgot to put in the case.

Holy shit! I'd be impressed to see you CC it with the suppressor! You must be gettin' all the ladies. :4couple:

Seriously though, that is a very beautiful gun. I am currently just trying to get myself into a Glock 19 MOS pistol.

Is that a suppressor in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?

The RMR takes a little practice to be able to find the dot quickly, but once you have it down it becomes natural.

Well I got my Glock 19 Gen4 MOS ordered today. Giddy with anticipation.

I've become proficient using the RMR on a rifle. I'm hoping this enables me to take to it on the pistol like a fish to water.

Haha lol, hey Mike, I thought the black marks were milled out vents at first. A double take was required before I realized you were blacking out the identifiers.
