Sounds like a great deal. I don't find them on the Dick's website. Is it an in-store deal or ??

If anyone is interested, the Dick’s at The Landing in Renton has one .308 and a few .30-06.

Yes, they had two .308s a few minutes ago.

And here it is:

Image

With a few things I already had:

- Burris low rings
- Bushnell 10x scope
- Very cheap Chinese bipod
- Silencerco Hybrid suppressor

The trigger is about 5.5 pounds, which is heavier than I like but otherwise it feels pretty good. I decided not to mess with the trigger (for now) since after doing some reading it sounds like the info on the manufacturer website is wrong, and the trigger is no longer adjustable down to 3.5 pounds. They had a trigger recall on this model, and the new design has a heavier trigger pull to keep it drop-safe.

But all in all . . . and granted I haven't shot it yet . . . it seems pretty nice for $205 net, which is $180 plus the sales tax I paid.

Well, I took mine to the range today for the first time. I shot three 5-shot groups with three different loads at 100 yards:

45.6 gr Varget, 155-grain Palma Sierra MatchKing: 1.6 MOA
44.1 gr Varget, 175-grain Sierra MatchKing: 2.1 MOA
45.0 gr Varget, 175-grain Sierra MatchKing: 1.6 MOA

So . . . meh. It shot, it grouped, it did the job.

Maybe it'll do better if I shoot it more. In other words, maybe I'll do better if I shoot it more.

The good news: I got my $75 rebate check today. :thumbsup2:

The bad news: It's printed in some non-standard format, and BECU's app won't recognize it. So I guess I'm gonna need to deposit this the old-fashioned way. :angryfire:
