So I have had my AR15 SBR for a while. I have an eotech on it which is mounted on the upper just far enough forward to make room and allow proper eye relief on a magnifier behind it.
I just picked up my 1st bullpup today and am putting a red-dot on it and wondering about positioning.
Bullpups already have a short sight radius, and I am curious if anyone has put a Red-dot as far forward as possible on the rail. I would think that might make it easier to pickup/transition and also allow more feedback on alignment to target?

That's really subjective Lamrith, though i like to position mine where the Red dot sight body itself kind of "disappears" and i see the dot and a decent field of view with both eyes open. Try different positions, you'll find the "spot".

I generally run as far forward as reasonable. AR is usually 1-2 slots or so from the handguard. Bullpups, kind of defined by the design. Fs2000 is pretty far forward on rail, Tavor has to do with relation to the backup sights it came with and the AUG is less chance of scraping my hand on mounts while charging.
