So as of right now we are waiting for one of two ways of Bill passage. Neither is done yet. The 17th would be the past fail date at this point.is this correct. I am thankful for all the hard work put in. Thank you.

Correct. The 17th will let us know if things are dead for this session or if there is a chance. I can tell you that Blake and his allies are trying to get the bill out of rules and onto the floor, but he is also working other angles for plan B.

You are welcome. Thankfully not a not of distractions this session. Wish we had a longer session though. Such is life.

Senate bill made it out of rules and is heading to the floor to be read again.

We still have the stumbling block of Jinkins in the house, where she could hold it up.

If the bill passes tomorrow. And let's pray it does. Form 1 sbrs will be acceptable again correct. So what would be a good wait time other then the full 90 days to file? 30 for the atf to get it figured out then add 30 for the paperwork. Just trying to avoid 41p bs.

Here is the process. (No need to be snarky)

how a bill becomes law.

1.A bill may be introduced in either the Senate or House of Representatives by a member.
2.It is referred to a committee for a hearing. The committee studies the bill and may hold public hearings on it. It can then pass, reject, or take no action on the bill.
3.The committee report on the passed bill is read in open session of the House or Senate, and the bill is then referred to the Rules Committee.
4.The Rules Committee can either place the bill on the second reading calendar for debate before the entire body, or take no action.
5.At the second reading, a bill is subject to debate and amendment before being placed on the third reading calendar for final passage.
6.After passing one house, the bill goes through the same procedure in the other house.
7.If amendments are made in the other house, the first house must approve the changes.
8.When the bill is accepted in both houses, it is signed by the respective leaders and sent to the governor.
9.The governor signs the bill into law or may veto all or part of it. If the governor fails to act on the bill, it may become law without a signature.


Should we be lucky enough to have Inslee sign either bill into law, I will probably just send in a form 1 within a week or so of that signing date, myself. We have a bit of road to travel before that point.

I did talk with Brian Blake today and he is working hard on both options. We'll know on one option be 5pm today.
