Question on Trusts and purchasing a suppressor:
After setting up trust and purchasing the first can, is the second can purchase any faster?

Prices and wait times have come down (pre-cv-19) Wait time might be back up.

How does the Form 1 work? I was told it was an allowance to manufacturer a suppressor device? Like which kits can you buy that does this, and does it mean I serialize it myself or so on?

“ATF Form 1 is an “Application to Make and Register a Firearm.” It is used whenever a non-FFL wants to make an “NFA Firearm” such as a silencer (suppressor), short barreled rifle (SBR), short barreled shotgun (SBS), or an Any Other Weapon (AOW).Feb 18, 2020“
Basically, you make your own. A popular route was to buy a tube and assemble and make one from a solvent trap and use the cups as baffles.
Yes, you will need to get it engraved.
Please do not drill out the cups until you have stamp from ATF. Those can be considered intent without and may get you way more attention than needed.

Is this something you should have a lathe or at least drill press for theoretically drilling out these cups? Seems like you could easily screw up and destroy your new can, or at very least create imprecision if you don't center each part exactly.

You can do it with hand tools. Or course, if you have the best materials and tooling, that's even better!
