Has anyone had issues with filing eForm 1?

I have read most all of these threads about filing the form 1, but I see little discussion about some of the anomalies that plague the eFile system. I have also read many of the ATF's sites eForm FAQ's.... It's not very helpful. I have recently tried to file an eForm 1 only to find a fault at trying to pay and complete the last component of eFile. I check all the previous forms (no big files over 3M and has the correct extension), the last step has green check mark that states all good. Push the pay button, all I get is big dialog box that is empty (but has a close button). A trip to "ask the experts has yielded no answers and several calls to the NFA branch asking for help has yielded see "ask the experts". It has been 2 weeks since I have sent these folks a note, with no reply. This is most frustrating, it's like all the horror stories about the obama care on line issues..... No one cares and there is little you can do to get help.
Has anyone else been through this? Can offer help?
Thank you, Curmudgeon.

Whoaahhh! it worked. I had tried Firefox and IE (both newest editions and listed as good search engines to use on the ATF site) and nothing. I tried Google Chrome, and it worked without a hitch. Thanks for the guidance!

Browsers can be a bitch.
You'll probably run across things that don't work in Chrome, too. Try IE and Firefox for those.

Maybe that earned Chrome an exclusive access to .gov sites . . . . Just kidding, but you never know anymore.
