I chewed up the rear O-ring for my Spectre II, so I decided to get some replacements to cover both that suppressor and my Octane 45.

I found the little pack below, and thought I had it nailed. It contains two size 13 Viton O-rings and two size 18 Viton O-rings, exactly what I wanted. It was $10.00 from Silencer Shop, with free shipping. thumbsup I know O-rings are cheap, but I figured that wasn't a bad deal considering I was getting four of them, and it included shipping and eliminated the hassle of me chasing the Viton O-rings at local hardware stores:
http://www.silencershop.com/sparrow-o-r ... -pack.html

Once I had completed that purchase (of course...), I decided to look around a little on the web. Lo and behold, they also sell these Viton O-rings on Amazon:
5-pack of size 13: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FMWPNS
5-pack of size 18: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FN0ZDO

So here's what I now possess:

From left to right: $10.00 shipped, $0.39 shipped, and $0.63 shipped.

Another of life's hard lessons.... :facepalm2:

. . . and you get what you pay for. Don't cheap out on safety items such as o-rings! I wouldn't let my family use o-rings that cost under a dollar . . . .

My guess is they're the exact same O-rings, just different packaging and retail mark up.

I can remember just a few years back, The NASA Space Shuttle ran into a serious problem due to O-Rings...

May the Astronauts aboard that shuttle, rest in peace. :patriot:
