If you are shooting idpa for pistol manipulation practice, and stress inoculation, then the cover basis are "helping" :-)

We have been called Cover Nazi's by shooters from other parts of the country. If you toe is sticking out you will be called for cover. We run strictly by the rule book. Haha. Yeah rule book is all of your legs and 50% of upper torso. I'm short so the difference between 50% of my torso and not 50% of my torso is a smaller margin than most. :P If they would let me do a walk through like USPSA I would know exactly where to stand to not get cover calls. I am very very happy they clarified that you don't have to be humping the cover in the new rule book though. At my old club back in Maryland I saw a lot of people get very very close to being DQed because they were so close to the cover barricade that I thought they were going to ask it out on a date which forced them to do a reload in a super awkward position and go them close to muzzling themselves or breaking the 180.

Then I started getting super competitive about it and wanted to win so it was less fun. Then I went to my first major match and realized I don't have the time to put into it to actually win at a big match so now I'm back to just trying to having fun with it. Which is why my CDP gun grip is covered in blue grip tape and blue glitter.

Registration should open about 8:45, Shooters Meeting about 9:45 and the Match starting about 10am, match fee $20. It should be a good one too, a lot of the stages will be from the State Championship match next month. They will be test those stages this Saturday. See you there!

Cool. I"ve been shooting CDP lately but I might bust out the Glock even though it's been less than reliable lately.

The charger was cool, I've never seen a contraption like that before. Moved at a good speed that wasn't too quick.
I already gave some feedback on the bridge that the metal cross beams on the bridge are going to gouge out the wood on the uprights holding the thing up.
Still can't find the scores anywhere.

It's a week and a half and I'm still waiting to get access to the forum. Someone seems to be asleep at the wheel. If they are going to take this long why not just email the scores or post them to the IDPA website or post them to practiscore or anywhere else?
