fun steel build?

 fun steel build? what would a easier gun be to build for a 22 fun steel match, I have a 10/22, 22/45, marlin 60....

Re: fun steel build? I've seen lots of 10/22's and 22/45's.... Both stock and highly built. But I don't think I've seen a Marlin 60 at the Renton steel matches yet. I shoot my Remington Nylon 66 sometimes. I think I won iron sight rifle division once with it. If I have the time, I'll probably shoot it again this next match.

Re: fun steel build? High cap mags are allowed, but you don't really need them. There are only 5 targets per stage, you shoot each stage 5 times and you can reload off the clock between each of your 5 strings. Your best 4 times count for your score.
Someone else will have to say about the best mods, I don't have either one.
