New shooting location I found near Rainier, WA. Decent location, solid backstop, and not too bad on trash (yet). I haven't shot there yet, but found it after hearing all the shooting while I was hunting and went to see what was going on. A buddy of mine was there last Sunday and DNR drove by checking tags/licenses on hunters and didn't say anything about the shooting. I'm headed there this weekend and will try to get some pics up as well as a better estimate of shooting distances, etc. Grid: 10TES2112988350 or 46.848364,-122.722859 Physical location: 17000 Johnson Creek Rd, Tenino WA 98599 Description: Pit, appx. 150m firing distance. Moderate weekend crowds (10-15 ppl average day) Parking area and walk-to-shoot distance ~150m or vehicle accessible via 4x4. Ownership unknown, but suspect Weyerhauser Timber. Was there shooting Saturday.It's a nice place to shoot but a TON of garbage.When we were leaving an older gentleman showed up to collect a few bags of trash.We took out what we took in and a bit more.
