Tucannon Lakes area this weekend

Going camping pretty far off grid this weekend. This place is located in a mountain range just East of WallaWalla. I chose this spot because it's far off grid and looking to avoid huge crowds of drunk people. Never been to that part of the state.

I'll be in the green patch on the map in the pic below. Not sure if shooting is allowed. Anyone ever been shooting or camping or even hunting out there?

Do I need to bring my "bear be gone" calibers?
