Bad news guys, I went to check out the pit and found the yellow gate welded shut at Lake Fontal Rd. I parked there and hiked in, and it's clear why it's shut off. The place is totally trashed. There are targets, shells, boxes, bottles and cans everywhere. Bags of trash are thrown in the bushes.

So although it's closed, is it okay to hike in and shoot there still? I know the DNR rolls through there sometimes, but I figured I'd go up there to clean up the pit as much as I can and do some shooting while I'm there. Is that okay to do?
