Hello everyone. I am looking for any recommendations for good ranges that are open in the evening for pistol shooting near Kent. I am also looking for any places to shoot rifles, I am interested in getting into long range shooting and any tactical shooting where I can.

Evening shooting . . . hmmm, that's pretty much going to restrict you to indoor ranges. Have you checked out Champion Arms in Kent, or Federal Way Discount Guns?

Tall order... 30 minutes to Paul Bunyan, open until 10pm, outside range. Membership is $100 annual.

Thanks for the info. If it helps to clarify I didn't mean I needed to do both types of shooting at one.
I have heard mixed things about Champions and Federal way. Has anyone been to either?

I have heard mixed things about Champions and Federal way. Has anyone been to either? We've probably all been to both. Champion is always a bit more sketchy than all other local ranges, but still okay in my book. I haven't been to Champion in a while but they used to allow .223 as long as you buy their frangible ammo. Federal way has a nice newer facility, but I'm not sure what it will take to shoot centerfire rifle calibers (or if they allow it).

Define “evening hours”. Are you like talking 5-6pm
Or more like 7-11pm?
What is the distances you are interested?

I was a member at FWDG for quite a while and it is a very nice, clean range. They let you shoot centerfire rifles with a membership, it's just not a very long range. But their policies are pretty easygoing, just no green-tip or steel-case ammo. And rapid-fire/holster draws are ok. I only recently let my membership lapse since I got into Cascade and do most of my shooting outdoors now.
Champion is garbage--it used to be pretty nice but not anymore. It's convenient though, so I hit it once every couple of months when it's cold, dark and wet out.

7-11 would be the preference during the week and the drive time is open to an hour one way if it's a good range. If it is for rifle I would drive as long as it takes if it's a good spot.
