Thought some here might be interested:
According to a Wes Knodel e-mail this afternoon it looks like the show originally scheduled for Nov. 8 & 9 in Centralia has been re-located to the Tacoma Dome, complete with free background checks!!!... the Centralia show has been re-scheduled to Nov. 15 & 16.
Wes also has another 4 dates lined up at the Dome in 2015!!!

Ahahhahahha.
Someone is going to get fucked with delays and denials. Both ways. Oh where is my popcorn. I would not want to be that FFL. Though I bet he ends up with some free guns. Hahahahah.

Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk so what happens with a delay... if you're from eastern WA or centralia, coming back to Tacoma or wherever the FFL is located is no fun... I would bet all sales would be conditional on passing the background check, anything other than proceed, and sale is cancelled... in the end it has the effect of reducing the number of gun sales... on the other hand if you never get a delay, it's a great time to look for bargains..

Just a side story... 10 years ago I had an FFL and did the transfers for a charity auction. In that auction, I had two guys delayed. It was a logistic nightmare.
To make it worse, another fellow bought 7 guns. And then was denied. He later told me he was surprised he was denied as he hadn't committed a crime in over half a century. Further probing... This 74 year old man did a bank robbery when he was in his 20s.
I couldn't give him the guns he paid for, and I wasn't going to transfer them to his sons after that either. We had to come to an agreement where I sold his guns thru an online auction. He lost money, but that wasn't my fault.
None the less, a huge headache for everyone involved.

Maybe tables of beanie babies and bedazzled jeans will be big sellers this show. I don't see the "private" tables doing nearly as much business this time around. Tables that are already FFL will probably be steady?....

What about people going to shows to buy things other than firearms?
Here is the skinny... Wes was forced to provide UBC's at his show as a condition of lease. Now, there is NO WAY that Wes can police all of the transactions that happen at the show. UBC non-compliance isn't illegal there.
