I'm seeing signs around town, Gun Show at Thurston Co. Fairgrounds Sat and Sun. Right? 1/21-2/1. Big Top Promotions?

Anyone going? Anyone been to one of these before? How's the participation? Worth the price of admission? I know you all have opinions...

Might be worth a quick perusal, you never know. Might stop in sat morn and see if its something worthwhile. I suspect it wont be much larger than the Tenino but closer to a larger population it may draw some other vendors.

Still a bit disappointed that i see absolutely nothing for advertising. Kinda hard to draw an audience to a developing show if nothing much is being done to promote it

Yes, I read that. From August I think? I see there's a post about several shows being put on by 'Big Top", thought maybe some had happened already.

I heard a radio ad for this show on one of the local country stations I think. It would be great if this was a good show...unfortunately I don't have high hopes.

I'd like to swing by, but man! $8 to get in and $100 per table mean I really don't have high hopes for anyone showing up. I guess a trip out is worth it just to help support local biz and all but jeez!

My wife mentioned seeing a sign advertising this and thought I might want to go. But not sure it's worth the trip or $8.

Any first-hand reports from the show? I was thinking about checking it out tomorrow morning. Not sure it's worth the argument with the wife.

Junk! Good waste of time but not worth the $8 admission. There's a reason our wives knew before us, it's a sign. $800 used ruger sr1911, shitty puma 92 45colt painted brown for $530, stripped composite lowers starting at $90, $60/500 22lr you can get at cabellas for $23, global arms ammo is there, my buddy said their not too trustworthy. I bought a nice leather belt tho for $30... Lmao! Only real decent prices there was from lc sports, a dealer I'm guessing. Guess this is why there wasn't any hype this time...

Thanks for the update! Glad I didn't waste my time.

Also, your buddy was correct about Global Arms and Ammo.. Steer Clear IMO.
