Why? He basically did absolutely nothing and it's not like there is anything good there anyway, except heavily marked up ammo, beef jerky, guys with crusty old hunting rifles, overpriced bubba SKS', and overpriced AR's.

I have been very unimpressed with the WAC shows. Prices online or at Skagit Arms don't make it worth going.

Don't forget the Knockoff Chinese AR parts that litter the Gun Shows as well.

Have you been to the Puyallup show? Yes. I was underwhelmed the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by an enormous table of overpriced ammo, some Ben Carson pimps, low grade stun guns, and the never ending array of utterly boring bolt guns, old shotguns, knives, crusty hunting crap, and the odd evil black rifle marked up to reflect the high cost of renting a table from WAC. Bonus points for the vaunted WAC membership and background check being utterly meaningless now in a post 594 world. No reason to buy WAC membership, wander through, and then buy something I can walk down to I-5 and order, or get off gunbroker if I feel like buying overpriced bubba rifles.

Go to the Wes Knodel Centralia show next weekend instead - still more private sellers than FFL's, and something always seems to be there at a good price, or close enough to make an offer worth while at least.

Yeah most of the time the Monroe show is fairly dead. The first show of the year is usually a bigger mess as too many don't bother renewing their memberships until the new year starts!
BTW as an added benefit for those who ARE WAC members. Everyone gets a free table at one show this year. So for all you complainers about overpriced junk (And yeah there's way too much of that), bring some better stuff and get a table. I was already thinking of getting a few tables this year now I can save $70 and have at least one!

Would love too but might as well plan on a vacation at the same time, such a pain to get down that far as you get to deal with every possible travel mess in the #$@%#$ state just to get there. Except maybe for those in Mexico!

Yup, I also thought the shows sucked until I started paying attention and not just looking at the big ticket items. Rix86 aka the dude with an overflowing gun room knows how to find deals.

I don't know..... seen a few AR's for 500.00 or so. Saw many more for under 600.00. One guy had resonably priced ammo, if and when you consider the cost of shipping.

Do you have something productive to say about it, or do you just exist in a constantly amused state about it, while other members here have dealt with it, sometimes even benefited from it, and in the case of our resident airplane toilet engineer contributed feedback and ideas that actually brought or is bringing new products to market?
