Heh, some local friends freaked out when I posted a pic of my young men cleaning firearms at a young age but you know what? They respected firearms, both took Hunter's ed and passed with 90% or better before age 10, both shoot with me locally at the range, and both lean conservative. I blame their success in life on guns! :)

Trying to figure out if this is a 4.5 or 5.5mm hinge. Looks like 5.5 to me but it`s in a Bulgarian kit build. The Russians changed to 5.5 in the 1990s, no real reason I`m aware of, just beefing it up. Never been a fan of the AMD-65 stock. How`s it treating you? Same for the backwards foregrip. Opinions? Considering snagging one.

I think they are awesome (the stock), as far as the grip again I think it is comfy as all hell and looks slick. The AMD has always been a cool rifle IMHO also the most compact out of the AK Family.
