Install is pretty easy too. Just remove the old barrel nut.

You call that easy? Some of the horror stories I am seeing I would never want to consider trying to remove it, taking torches and lots of heat to get the gallon of red Locktite to release. People even breaking and stripping factory removal tools..

Looks badass though with the recessed suppressor. :thumbsup2:

I found it extremely easy. Bent the little tab back and out of the way (since it isn't needed anymore) and used my smooth jawed pliers and it came right off. Took a bit to break the locktite (well stuff they use that's equivalent to lock tite) but nothing bad at all. Took all of about a minute to do.

I will add one thing. If you have the non 1/2-28 thread version, getting the adapter of your choice on is kind of interesting since you cant use the wrench flats to tighten it. So you have two options really, 1) take the adapter on/off with the suppressor 2) Put locktite on the adapter threads and use the suppressor to "screw it on" snuggly. Let locktite setup and back the suppressor off leaving the adapter. You can also fit a punch/allen wrench through the M-Lok holes to hold the flat to keep it from rotating too.

Ahhhh sounds like you have the newer version. It is the old ones that had the nightmare removing that oddball 18m barrel nut. There is a guy on the CZ forums that specializes in it and also rethreading to 1/2-28 that many people send their V1 scoprions to.

I've got the EVO Carbine. Everybody talks about how you have to do all these mods to them. I have found the opposite to be the case. The gun shoots great out of the box. Trigger isn't perfect, but it's not awful either. I added a couple 30-rd mags and installed a QD sling mount, but that's it for mods. Fun little rifle. I love it.

The safety doesn't dig into your hand? I am going to replace the trigger pack, too many good ar triggers will do that. I also want a larger charging handle, I grate my finger if I do it too fast and carelessly.

You got me there. The safety is a little annoying.

The safety and trigger were my two biggest gripes. But the HB industries spring (like 10 bucks) made the trigger a TON better. Safeties...pick one lol. I have a HB industires one on one side and a gearhead works one on the other.

I do have the carbine length handguard which fits suppressors nicely but it isnt totally needed.
